Retail development for Carphone Warehouse on established retail park on Purley Way, Croydon. Due to the underlaying depth of fill and extensive known obstructions, the foundation solution adopted comprised of a semi-rigid floating reinforced concrete raft on the remediation capping layer to achieve the required economy.

Particular care and attention was taken in the design of the superstructure and the external fenestration to accept potential differential movements.
