CSP were commissioned as consultant structural engineers for the refurbishment of No.1 Marshall Street and the construction of a new building behind a retained faÁade at No.2
The development, constructed on a restricted central London site, provides 8,000 sq. ft. of office, residential and retail accommodation.
A new basement was required at No.2 necessitating complex underpinning of all adjacent party walls. The superstructure comprises ìhollow ribî floors supported upon a steel frame, whilst the envelope is brick clad with curved curtain walling.
